Albert Theuwissen

Albert Theuwissen is a seasoned professional in the field of electronic engineering, serving as the CEO and Founder of Harvest Imaging since October 2007. In addition to this role, Albert has been a Faculty Member at CEI since 1999 and held a position as a Part-time Professor at Delft University of Technology from April 2001 to May 2023. Albert's leadership experience includes serving as President of the International Image Sensor Society from June 2017 to June 2021. Prior to these roles, Albert held various positions in research and development, including CTO & Chief Scientist at DALSA from April 2002 to September 2007, R&D Groupsleader at Philips Semiconductors from 1999 to 2002, and R&D Manager at Philips Research from 1991 to 2002. Albert began an academic career as a PhD student at ESAT from 1977 to 1983 and earned a PhD in Electronic Engineering from KU Leuven between 1972 and 1977.
