Tripp Elliott has a diverse work experience spanning over a number of years. Tripp started their career with Marriott Hotels, where they worked as a Front Office Manager (Supervisor) from February 2015 to February 2017. In this role, they ensured exceptional guest service, managed daily room inventory, and assigned rooms based on guest preferences.
After their time with Marriott Hotels, Tripp joined Spectrio in March 2017 as a Senior Account Executive. Tripp excelled in this role by focusing on customer engagement through digital marketing strategies, resulting in increased revenue for businesses. Tripp closed the year at 137% to quota for the year, making him the top performer in new business sales.
Tripp's success led to a promotion to Sales Manager in December 2018 at Spectrio, where they initially managed a team of 10 representatives. Tripp oversaw lead conversion, prospecting, and acquiring new logos. As of July, the team had grown to 43 inside sales representatives, with a goal of reaching 60 by 2020.
In April 2020, Tripp assumed the position of Senior Sales Team Lead Account Manager at Spectrio. Tripp provided innovative customer engagement technology to a wide range of businesses, from local enterprises to Fortune 500 companies. This involved offering branded experiences through digital signage, on-hold marketing, and on-premise messaging.
Most recently, Tripp transitioned to the role of Director of Account Management at Spectrio in September 2021. As the director, they are responsible for overseeing the account management function, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering strong relationships.
Tripp Elliott earned a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, from 2011 to 2016. Tripp has also obtained various certifications, including Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues, Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences, Creating a Culture of Change, Cultivating Mental Agility, Cultivating a Growth Mindset, Developing a Learning Mindset, Developing a Service Mindset, Unconscious Bias, and Holding Yourself Accountable from LinkedIn in 2023. In addition, they received the Spectricorn Award from Spectrio in 2019 and obtained certifications in Netsuite and Salesforce from Spectrio in 2017. Tripp has also been recognized as the Employee of the Month and nominated for Employee of the Year by Marriott Hotels, receiving the Spirit to Serve Awards.
