Cornelia Davis

Cornelia Davis has a diverse and extensive work experience. Cornelia is currently working as a Technology Fellow at Spectro Cloud, where they drive product and industry advancements in application platforms. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at GapJumpers, contributing to their mission of eliminating bias in hiring through blind auditions. Cornelia also had a role as a Products team member at Amazon, specifically working on Alexa AI. Additionally, Cornelia has been a member of the Technical Oversight Committee at CNCF, guiding the technical direction of the organization. Cornelia served as the Chief Technology Officer at WeaveWorks, responsible for the company's technology strategy. Prior to that, they held various roles at Pivotal Software, Inc., including Vice President of Technology and Senior Director of Technology, where they focused on emerging technologies and helping clients optimize their technical strategy. Cornelia also has experience at EMC Corporation and eRoom Technology, where they worked as a Senior Technologist and Solutions Architect respectively.

Cornelia Davis pursued their education in Computer Science, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Northridge, which they completed between 1983 and 1988. Cornelia further continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge from 1989 to 1991. Cornelia went on to enroll in Indiana University Bloomington in 1991 and remained there until 1994, working towards a Doctorate in Computer Science.
