Mark Fernandes

Mark Fernandes is a seasoned Managing Director at Sierra Ventures, with a notable investment track record that includes Sourcefire, which went public and was later acquired by Cisco for $2.7 billion. Fernandes serves on the Board of Directors for multiple companies, including Reify Health, Spectro Cloud, Yalo, Paro.ai, Sikka Software, ZImperium, RedLock, and Ooyala, and has played significant roles in several successful acquisitions, such as Ooyala's acquisition by Telstra for $420 million and RedLock’s acquisition by Palo Alto Networks. Fernandes holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and has Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and Manipal Institute of Technology, respectively.
