In 2008, Thomas became an Owner-Operator at j2 New Media, where their responsibilities included photography, videography, and social media management.

In 2017, Thomas joined TeamHealth as a Resident Recruiter, partnering with senior clinical recruiters to capture resident leads and build relationships with medical professionals. Thomas also trained and mentored new residency specialists and conducted monthly training sessions. Thomas held this role until March 2022.
