Michael Valentin has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Michael began their career at Verizon in 1994, where they assumed various leadership and technical roles, supporting and leading both local and national groups. Michael played a key role in supporting the launch of high-profile initiatives and was responsible for proposal preparation, resource coordination, and project performance. In 2006, Valentin joined Cablevision as an Area Operations Manager and then progressed to become a Regional Director of Field Operations. In 2010, they moved to Comcast as a Senior Director of Field Operations and later became an Area Vice President, overseeing operations and customer experience initiatives in several key market areas. Valentin joined Spectrum in 2016 as a Vice President of Regional Field Operations for the New York City & New Jersey market. Michael then relocated to spearhead the fastest-growing market within the organization as the Vice President of Regional Field Operations. Currently, Valentin is serving as the Vice President of Operations for Spectrum, leading one of the largest single Market Areas in the company and providing direct leadership to over 1600 field operations employees.
Michael Valentin is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Technology Management at Columbia University, which is expected to be completed in 2025. Michael previously earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Financial Management from Pace University - Lubin School of Business. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Iona University. Furthermore, they obtained Professional Certificates in Executive Leadership from both The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and UCLA Anderson School of Management. Additionally, they are working towards a Professional Certificate in Executive Management from Harvard University, which is anticipated to be completed in 2022.
