Kevin Hayes

Kevin Hayes is an accomplished sports reporter and multimedia journalist with extensive experience in local news coverage across Western New York. Currently serving as a Sports Reporter/MMJ for Spectrum News since June 2021, Kevin covers a variety of sports teams, including the Bills, Sabres, and Amerks, while also addressing community stories as a news reporter. Prior to this role, Kevin worked as a Digital Multimedia Journalist for Nexstar Media Group, where Kevin was recognized as the first to hold this position at WBRE/WYOU Eyewitness News. Earlier experience includes serving as a Multimedia Journalist and News Anchor at Delmarva Broadcasting Co. Kevin's background is further complemented by military service as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Kevin holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University and has studied Communications and Broadcasting at Camden County College.
