Amyn Andharia is the Chief Operating Officer for Spectrum Vision Partners, LLC, the premier management, administrative, and consulting partner for ophthalmology practices and ophthalmic ASCs. Amyn is responsible for contributing to the strategic vision of the practice, providing leadership to the operational efforts across all locations, directing the human resource function of the organization, and serving as the primary lead for provider contracting, practice acquisitions, and a full range of organizational matters.
Amyn has worked in a similar operational capacity for various healthcare-related companies, since earning his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law. He earned his BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Houston.
Amyn started his career at Merck where he rotated through several roles, including a manager position in internal consulting, operational excellence, and project management groups. He also worked in GE Healthcare’s investment fund evaluating early-stage healthcare companies.
Later, as Regional Director of Operations for a portfolio of senior housing properties, Amyn orchestrated a cultural change from a disengaged organization to one that is compassionate, patient-focused, and business-minded. More recently, as Division President of Oak Street Health, a network of primary care providers serving Medicare recipients, Amyn managed centers in Illinois and then led the company’s successful expansion to Pennsylvania and Rhode Island through acquisitions and de novo builds.
