Alex Cormier

Alex Cormier has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and IT support. They began their career as an IT Support Staff at Little People's College, Inc. in 2015, where they provided technical assistance to seven daycare centers. They also upgraded PCs and recycled hardware to maintain existing machines.

In 2016, Alex became an IT Support Specialist at Statewide Software & Systems. During their time there, they provided Tier 1 and 2 support for over 50 businesses and private homes. Alex also designed and implemented plans to upgrade systems, including desktops, servers, switches, and routers.

In 2014, Alex worked as a Youth Climbing Coach & Route Setter at Carabiners Indoor Climbing. They developed training programs for competitive youth climbers and mentored team members both on and off the climbing wall. Alex also created artificial rock climbing routes to cater to various skill levels.

Alex then joined Harvard Law School in 2017 as a Senior Technology Support Analyst. They provided Tier 2 support to students, staff, and faculty, and acted as a trusted advisor to senior administrators and deans. Alex also mentored service desk associates and helped resolve user problems efficiently.

From 2019 onwards, Alex worked at PathAI, starting as an IT Systems Support Analyst and later becoming a Senior IT Systems Support Analyst. In these roles, they provided support and resolved IT issues within the organization. They also served as a Site Reliability Engineer, ensuring the reliability and smooth functioning of the organization's systems.

Most recently, in 2023, Alex joined SpectrumAi as a Platform Engineer. Further information about their work in this role is not available.

Alex Cormier completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Boston University. They also obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer Networking from Bristol Community College. In terms of certifications, Alex obtained the Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification from Apple in March 2018 and the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in November 2015.
