Sharmila Venugopal has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2014. In 2021, they began working as an Operations Consultant - SQL Developer for SpectrumTek, where they are enhancing and developing Xactly-Connect Based Solutions for the GSC Sector. sharmila has also reduced the overall processing time for huge input files. From 2018-2021, they worked at PwC as an Experienced Consultant, where they implemented an automated continuous control monitoring solution for a leading FMCG client, mapped the necessary data for each KPI from SAP, prepared ETL packages in SSIS, scripted the analysis in SQL and published the reports in Power BI. From 2016-2018, they worked at EY as a Consultant and Associate, where they prepared a set of tests based on the requirements, automated them using SQL Scripts, developed an automated model using SQL queries and HTML, .NET & C#, and created a data cleansing model and data deduplication architecture. In 2014, they completed an internship at Thorogood Associates, where they worked on the Connect Finance project, providing business intelligence solutions, removing data inconsistency through ETL process, and generating excel and reporting server reports.

Sharmila Venugopal completed a Master of Science in Theoretical Computer Science from PSG College of Technology from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their High School in Computer Science from GD Matriculation Hr. Sec. School from 2009 to 2010.
