John Vidler

John Vidler has extensive experience in technology and leadership roles, currently serving as Executive at Spectur since July 2020. Prior to this role, John held the position of Director of Technology - IoT and AI at Startup Strategy and Execution from 2019 to June 2020. Experience also includes Director of Technology at Macquarie Group for a brief period in early 2019 and Director of the IoT Practice at KPMG Australia from October 2017 to January 2019. Earlier positions include Program Director for IoT at Telstra, Director Solutions for IoT and Smart Cities at Huawei, and a progression of senior roles at IBM/Vallent/WatchMark spanning over a decade. Initial roles included Business Analyst at Coca-Cola Amatil and Pre Sales Engineer at Eicon Technology and Wall Data. John Vidler holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from RMIT University, completed in 1992.
