Sylvain Bourassa

Sylvain Bourassa, ing. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sylvain is currently the Director of Information Technology at Waterfield Tech since November 2022. Prior to that, Sylvain worked at Nu Echo, where they held various roles including Directeur IT and Développeur de solutions CCC & Chef de pratique du génie logiciel. Sylvain started their career at SOVO Technologies as a Concepteur logiciel and later became a Concepteur logiciel / Coordonnateur technique. Before that, they worked at CRIM as a Coordonnateur technique, where they were responsible for the technological aspects of the subtitling service. Sylvain also has experience working at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), MDDELCC, LAN ETS, Edison communication, Centre d'emploi jeunesse Charlesbourg Chauveau, and Michel Gagnon inc in various IT-related roles.

Sylvain Bourassa, ing. completed their DEC in Informatique de gestion (alternance travail-études) from Cégep Limoilou from 1997 to 2001. Sylvain further pursued their education at École de technologie supérieure, where they obtained a Baccalauréat degree in Génie des technologies de l'information from 2002 to 2006.
