Randy Goldberg is an experienced professional who has held various roles in the technology and communication industry. Randy started their career as a Research Member Technical Staff at Lockheed Martin in 1988, where they developed signal processing systems for government programs. Randy then moved on to work at RealNetworks as a Lead Scientist, where they designed and led the development of a proof of concept for the first streaming audio system. After that, Randy joined AT&T as a Technical Manager, where they worked closely with stakeholders to define priorities and create technology roadmaps for speech-related projects. Randy also managed the development of application aspects of Advanced Transaction Processing Service and established a facility for data-driven service performance analysis. Following their time at AT&T, Randy worked at Nuance Communications as a Senior Manager, supervising high-performing teams and implementing project management methodologies. Randy also served as a Strategic Client Manager for government entities. Currently, Randy is the Executive Vice President at Speech-Soft Solutions, where they own and manages various practices related to IVR and AI. Randy interfaces with clients, sells products and services, and strategizes for the migration and integration of contact centers.
Randy Goldberg holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which they obtained from 1987 to 1988. Randy also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the same institute between 1984 and 1988. Additionally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering at Rutgers University. Randy has also obtained certifications such as SAFe® 4 Certified Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2018 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2014.
