Leonard Schmid

Leonard Schmid is fascinated by engineering from an early age, and an interest in economics quickly came into the mix when he was introduced to capital markets.

After working with BMW in Beijing, he traded in his sleep for Excel models during an investment banking gig in automotive M&A. Ultimately jumping into the venture industry, Leo experienced the intense period of an early-stage Industrial-IoT startup first-hand, supporting funding efforts and building business development processes from the ground up. After studying stints in Germany and California, Leo holds a Master of Science from RWTH Aachen University.
