Douglas Conklyn

Douglas Conklyn has an extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Douglas is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Global Design at Pentland Brands, specifically focusing on the Speedo brand. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Design and Merchandising at Speedo.

Before joining Speedo, Conklyn worked at Levi Strauss & Co. where they served as the Senior Vice President/Chief Creative Officer for Dockers and later as the Senior Vice President of Global Design for Dockers. Douglas also worked at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC. as the VP/Chief Design Officer for Martin+Osa.

Conklyn's career also includes positions at Lilly Pulitzer as the VP of Design and Merchandising for Men's and Women's Apparel, as well as the VP of Design for Men's Apparel. Prior to that, they held the role of EVP of Design and Merchandising at Hartmarx and Design Director of Neckwear at Polo Ralph Lauren.

Earlier in their career, Conklyn worked as the Director of Sportswear at Pincus Brothers - Maxwell and as a Merchandiser at The Eagle's Eye.

With their diverse experience in various roles and companies, Conklyn brings a wealth of expertise to their current position at Pentland Brands.

Douglas Conklyn attended Bucknell University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a B.A. in English.
