Kate Mayes

Kate Mayes serves as the Vice President, Tax Director, and Assistant General Counsel at Speedway Motorsports since November 2021. Previously, Kate Mayes held the position of Associate at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP from March 2017 to November 2021 and worked as Tax Counsel at Envision Healthcare from September 2015 to February 2017. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Denver (2015-2016), a Doctor of Law from Wake Forest University School of Law (2011-2014), and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2004-2008). Kate Mayes is also an alumna of Charlotte Country Day School.
