Andy Briggs

Andy Briggs is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the powered access and plant hire sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Speedy Powered Access since November 2020 and as Managing Director for Powered Access at Speedy Services since July 2019, Andy has held significant leadership roles, including UK Performance Improvement Director and Regional Director at Nationwide Platforms from July 2001 to April 2019. Responsibilities included total P&L oversight for multiple hire depots, managing a fleet of approximately 3600 Mobile Elevating Work Platforms and a workforce of over 200 staff. Additionally, Andy played a key role in integrating operational processes post-merger and was instrumental in the development of a custom ERP system. Educationally, Andy completed an Advanced Management Programme focused on Organizational Leadership at Hult Ashridge Executive Education in 2016.
