Ellie Armour (Nee Kenyon) has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Ellie currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Speedy Services since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Group HR and Transformation Director at Speedy Services from October 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Speedy Services, Ellie worked as a Non Executive Director at SNAPP CV GROUP PLC from January 2017 onwards.

Ellie also served as the UK HR, Marketing & Communications Director at SPIE UK from July 2012 to September 2020. In this role, they were responsible for steering the UK business through challenging economic conditions and leading a complex people and communication agenda.

Earlier in their career, Ellie held the position of Group Human Resources Director at Fountains from March 2010 to May 2012. Ellie successfully carved out the Fountains business from the Connaught Group, which went into administration in September 2010.

Prior to Fountains, Ellie worked for DHL Exel Supply chain as the VP HR Regional Functions EMEA from 2007 to 2010. Ellie supported various functions across 22 countries and previously served as the HR Director for the Fashion Division in the UK and Europe.

Ellie also worked at Brakes as the Snr HR Business Partner for the Speciality Business from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they were a board member for M&J Seafoods, Wild Harvest, Catering Supplies, and Country Choice Foods.

Ellie started their career at Tesco as a Personnel Manager in Kent in 1996. Ellie worked in several stores, managed talent across different store formats in the South East, and covered regional roles in North London, Essex, and Kent. Ellie also contributed to key projects at Tesco's Head Office.

Prior to Tesco, Ellie worked as a Personnel Officer at Welcome Break from 1991 to 1995.

Ellie Armour (Nee Kenyon) completed their education at the Birmingham College of Food, Tourism & Creative Studies from 1990 to 1994. Ellie earned a B.A (Hons) 2:1 degree with a focus on Business Management. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1989, they attended Beaverwood School for Girls where they obtained 10 GSCEs grades C and above and studied 3 A-levels in Computers, Geography, and Maths.
