Ala'a Abu Al-Adas,

Ala'a Abu Al-Adas has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2015 when they worked as an IT Developer for Abdullah Al-Suwaiket Trading & Contracting Est. During this role, they modified existing software to detect and correct errors, improve performance, and upgrade interfaces. They also consulted with clients regularly regarding projects, proposals, and technical issues, and prepared reports on specifications and activities for each project.

In 2017, Ala'a Abu Al-Adas joined SALAMA Cooperative Insurance Co. as a Project Manager and Project Engineer. As Project Manager, they led and directed small to large scale projects consistently following the PMO methodology, project management approach and communication methods. As Project Engineer, they designed, developed and maintained electrical control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, quality, reliability, safety and sustainability.

Most recently, in 2021, Ala'a Abu Al-Adas began working as the Director of Product Management and Product Manager for Speero. As Director of Product Management, they worked in an integrated product team (UX, Product, Tech) to build a new product across platforms (web, Mobile Apps and native app). As Product Manager, they translated customer and business objectives into measurable and attainable key results across all phases of the product life cycle, conducted continuous qualitative and quantitative research to identify and define customer problems and needs, applied analytical thinking and methodologies to prioritize which problems to solve, collaborated with the UX and tech team to ideate on potential solutions, designed and ran experiments to validate value, usability, feasibility, and viability risks, and broke down and translated experiments and solutions into clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development and QA teams. They also defined KPIs, analyzed and reported on the product performance to stakeholders, drove team’s efficiency to ensure quality continuously in an agile way, collaborated with other product teams to help grow the product in other product verticals, and collaborated with other parts of the business to enable them to drive adoption and operational efficiency for the product.

Ala'a Abu Al-Adas completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Yarmouk University between 2010 and 2015. In September 2015, they obtained a Membership from the Saudi Council of Engineers. In September 2020, they obtained a Membership from the Project Management Institute, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute, a PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification from Project Management Institute, a Key Performance Indicator- KPI-P certification from BIMA, a SIX SIGMA YELLOW BELT - SSYB certification from VMEdu Inc., and a Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In May 2020, they obtained a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from Project Management Institute and in December 2021, they obtained a PORTFOLIO, PROGRAMME AND PROJECTS OFFICES- P3O certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
