Laura (Troyer) Beachy has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Luz. The following year, they became a Resident Advisor at Eastern Mennonite University. In 2020, during the pandemic, they joined Save and Serve Thrift Shop as a Summer Staff member. Their responsibilities included ensuring mask compliance, sorting items, pricing, operating the cash register, and assisting customers. In 2021, they worked as a Barista at Common Grounds Coffee Shop. Currently, in 2022, they are working as a Mechanical Project Engineer at Spees Design Build.

Laura (Troyer) Beachy completed their education in a chronological manner. Laura first attended Central Christian School from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they enrolled at Eastern Mennonite University from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certification in the FE Exam from NCEES in April 2022.
