Mohamed M. Aburawi, MD, MPA has a diverse work experience in the field of social innovation, global development policies, entrepreneurship, and healthcare. Mohamed M. is currently an Echoing Green Fellow, recognized as a social innovator and leader solving global problems and driving social progress. In 2020, they were a New Voices Fellow at The Aspen Institute, where they received training, mentorship, and media support to influence global development policies. In 2019, they founded Speetar and served as the CEO, focusing on fundraising for the organization. Mohamed M. Aburawi, MD, MPA has a comprehensive education history. Mohamed M. started their education journey in 2005 at Al Margeb University Faculty of Medicine, where they pursued a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree, and successfully completed it in 2014.

In 2015, Aburawi pursued a surgery clinical rotation at Harvard Medical School, which further enhanced their medical education and skills.

In 2019, Aburawi expanded their educational pursuits by enrolling in various prestigious institutions. Mohamed M. pursued an executive leadership program in entrepreneurship/entrepreneurial studies at Ashoka Austria. Later that year, they also attended Harvard Business School for a field course focusing on business administration, management, and operations, specifically the Lab to Market aspect.
