Christina Bellissimo

Christina Bellissimo has a diverse work history spanning from 2017 to 2023. Christina started as a Staffing Intern at Lloyd Staffing in 2017 and then moved on to intern as a Counseling Intern at The Beacon School from January to June 2020. Christina worked as a School Counseling Intern at Northport Senior High School from September 2020 to May 2021 and also substituted as a School Counselor at the same school from May to June 2021. In 2021, they worked as a School Counselor at Commack School District Reconnecting and Discovery Summer Camp in July and August. Continuing their career path, in 2022, they served as an Event and Program Coordinator at the New York County Psychiatric Society from May 2022 to April 2023, where they handled all the details of organizing events. Christina is currently and pursuing a career in event management as an Events Operations Coordinator at Spektrix starting from April 2023, which is their current job. Before this, Christina worked as a Store Manager at Bottle Bargains, where they managed employee schedules, trained new employees, created training manuals, supervised sales events, provided exceptional customer service and submitted taxes, exchanges, and discounts for clients, among other duties.

Christina Bellissimo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology from Farmingdale State College in 2017. In 2019, they began pursuing their Master of Education degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services at Hunter College, which they completed in 2021. In July of 2021, they obtained a School Counselor Provisional Certification from New York State.
