Paul McGuinness

Paul McGuinness has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Paul began their career at UGC Cinema in 2000, where they held the positions of Customer Services Supervisor and Cash Office Administrator until 2001. Paul then moved on to the National Concert Hall in 2002, working as a Box Office and IT Executive until 2005.

In 2005, McGuinness joined the Hackney Empire Theatre as a Deputy Box Office Manager and stayed in the role for a year. Paul then joined the Southbank Centre in 2006 as the Head of Ticketing and Contact Centre, where they stayed for seven years.

In 2013, McGuinness joined COFELY UK - GDF SUEZ GROUP as the ArcelorMittal Orbit Ticketing Manager until 2014. Following this, they joined Spektrix in 2014 as the Deputy Head of Business Development until 2018. Paul then served as the Head of Account Management at Spektrix from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Client Relations for the UK and Ireland at Spektrix, starting in March 2021.

Overall, McGuinness has demonstrated a strong background in client relations, account management, business development, and ticketing throughout their career.

Paul McGuinness attended University College Dublin from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Arts with a field of study in Sociology. In addition, they obtained a certification as a PRINCE2 Practitioner from the APM Group in March 2011.
