Marisol Rosa-Shapiro is an accomplished teaching artist and producing artistic director with extensive experience in theater and youth empowerment. Currently serving as a teaching artist at New Victory Theater and the producing artistic director of Soledad Ensemble, Marisol directs innovative theater works, including "The Seven Ravens Project," which intertwines themes from a Brothers Grimm tale with contemporary issues faced by child migrants and refugees. Key contributions include performances and direction at SPELLBOUND THEATRE INC, involvement in community engagement with SHAKESPEARE IN CLARK PARK and Theatre Horizon, and a focus on bilingual education through a solo show on conservation. Marisol's educational background includes a B.A. in History from Princeton University and a certificate in Movement-Based Ensemble Theater Creation from Helikos Scuola Internazionale di Creazione Teatrale.
