Jerry Volcy

Jerry Volcy is an accomplished academic and engineering professional with extensive experience in computer science and firmware engineering. Currently serving as the Lead of the Spelman Game Design Studio and co-Director of the Spelman Innovation Lab at Spelman College, contributions also include a tenure as the Brown-Simmons Professor of Computer Science, where courses on programming, iOS development, robotics, and operating systems were developed and taught. Previous positions include President of ESLLC/JVL, which focused on firmware engineering services for various scientific instrumentation industries, as well as roles at Micron Optics, Inc. and Lucent Technologies. Jerry Volcy holds degrees from both the Georgia Institute of Technology and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
