Tasha R. Inniss is a seasoned academic and administrator with extensive experience in higher education and STEM fields. Currently serving as Vice Provost for Research and Associate Provost for Research at Spelman College since September 2018, Tasha has previously held positions including Founding Director of Education and Industry Outreach at INFORMS and Acting Deputy Division Director at the National Science Foundation. Tasha's academic career at Spelman College began in 2004 as a Mathematics Professor, where responsibilities included teaching, directing undergraduate research, and conducting research in data mining and applied statistics. Tasha also served as Clare Boothe Luce Professor of Mathematics at Trinity Washington University. Tasha holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland, a Master's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree from Xavier University of Louisiana.
