Gillian Bernadt

Gillian Bernadt, MRTPI, is an experienced planning policy professional currently serving as the Principal Planning Policy Officer at Spelthorne Borough Council since November 2024. Prior to this role, Gillian held the same position at Portsmouth City Council from June 2023 to November 2024 and worked as a Senior Planning Policy Officer at Woking Borough Council between April 2015 and June 2023. Earlier in career, Gillian was employed as a Planning Policy Officer at the London Borough of Hounslow from September 2004 to March 2015. Gillian holds an MSc in Spatial Planning from UCL, obtained in 2007, and a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Bristol, earned in 2002.
