Alex McDavid

Alex McDavid has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Starting with the most recent, Alex served as the Operations Engineering Manager and previously as the Senior Mechanical Engineer at Spencer Health Solutions, Inc. from 2022 to the present.

Prior to that, Alex worked at VERO Biotech from 2019 to 2022. Their roles at VERO Biotech included Manager of Console Engineering, Senior Console Engineer, and R&D Mechanical Engineer.

Before joining VERO Biotech, Alex was employed at Stryker from 2017 to 2019 as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the EMS business unit in R&D - New Product Development.

Alex's work experience also includes positions at the University of Southern California and Rogue Valley Microdevices, Inc. as a Graduate Student Researcher and Engineering Intern, respectively.

Additionally, Alex gained research experience as a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Intern sponsored by the National Science Foundation at the University of Florida.

Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated expertise in areas such as operations engineering, mechanical engineering, console engineering, research, and design.

Alex McDavid completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2011 to 2015. Following that, from 2015 to 2016, Alex pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
