Arun Kousik

Arun Kousik has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering and quality assurance roles. Arun started their career as a Quality Assurance Intern at Slidematic Products Co. in 2012, where they inspected parts and ran dimensional analyses. In 2013, they interned at Cybernetik Technologies P. Ltd. In the same year, they also joined the Biomedical Design Team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they collaborated on creating a specialized iPhone holder for patients with multiple sclerosis.

In 2014, Arun worked as a Senior Design Member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, collaborating with an assisted living device company to design a tilting mechanism for a stair lift system. Arun also served as a part of the Engineering Design Team during this time.

From 2015 to 2016, Arun worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Astronautics Corporation of America, where they designed plumbing systems and conducted experiments for green refrigeration technology. Arun also performed machine design analysis to optimize utilization of materials.

In 2016, Arun joined Medline Industries, LP as a QA Engineer. Arun performed quality assurance for various products, including plastics, procedural kits, OR devices, and patient oral care devices. Arun conducted evaluations of kitting lines and injection molding machines and remediated device master records for suction oral care products and surgical wound drains.

Most recently, in 2022, Arun joined Spencer Health Solutions, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer. The details of their role at this company are not provided.

Arun Kousik attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
