Ankur Baidya

Ankur Baidya has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ankur is currently the Director of Product, Design, and Engineering at Spendesk since September 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Engineering at Spendesk from January 2023 to September 2023.

Before joining Spendesk, Ankur worked as the Chief Parenting Officer at LittleRebel since June 2022. In this role, they focused on improving analytical thinking and servant leadership skills as a full-time dad.

From August 2021 to May 2022, Ankur served as the Head of Engineering at TrueLayer.

Ankur also gained valuable experience at Expedia Group, where they held the position of Senior Engineering Manager from May 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they led a team of 10 engineers in building new ML platform capabilities.

Ankur's previous experience includes working at Hotels.com as a Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and Tech Lead from 2014 to 2020. Ankur was responsible for managing geographically dispersed teams and mission-critical platforms.

Earlier in their career, Ankur worked in various software engineering roles at Expedia, Red Bee Media, Glaxo Smithkline, Virgin Mobile, and Atos Orign.

Ankur Baidya completed their undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000. Ankur has also obtained additional certifications, including "Leading Your Team Through Change" and "Ninja Writing: The Four Levels of Writing Mastery" from LinkedIn in 2022, as well as "Writing with Flair: How to Become an Exceptional Writer" from LinkedIn in 2020.
