Dmitriy Baev has held a variety of roles in the field of quality assurance and software testing. Dmitriy started their career at Nival in November 2016 as a QA Intern, where they gained skills in software testing and quality assurance, as well as experience working on mobile projects for Android and iOS. Dmitriy then progressed to the role of Junior QA Specialist, working on an unreleased mobile project before transitioning to a MOBA called Prime World. Dmitriy continued to learn and develop their software testing skills on PC. In September 2017, Dmitriy became a QA Specialist, where they focused on a MOBA project at Nival, helping to update and change the testing process. Dmitriy also took on the role of teaching newcomers to the QA department. In June 2019, they were promoted to the position of Senior QA Specialist, and switched to the mobile department again. Dmitriy participated in the development of two mobile games, including one that went from the prototype stage to a global launch. In 2021, Dmitriy joined Sperasoft as a Game QA Engineer and later transitioned to the role of QA Engineer.
Dmitriy Baev attended the Russian State Hydrometeorological University from 2006 to 2011, where they studied Information security of telecommunication systems. Dmitriy then enrolled at the Saint Petersburg University of Management and Economics, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from 2011 to 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Dmitriy Baev has obtained several certifications. In January 2020, they completed a course on Test Automation using Selenium and Python offered by Stepik. In May 2019, they completed a course on Basics of C++ Development: Yellow Belt, offered by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Yandex on Coursera. Dmitriy also completed a course on Basics of C++ Development: White Belt, offered by the same institutions, in March 2019.
