Spescare is a private sub-acute hospital group focused on providing physical rehabilitation and post-operative care in a hospital setting. Spescare was founded to develop the sorely needed sub-acute healthcare services, throughout Southern Africa.  

In ancient Roman history, the word “Spes” represented “Hope”.  Therefore, Spescare’s aim is to combine hope with care into our healthcare system. In order to do so, Spescare provides holistic and comprehensive care programs for the physical rehabilitation process.

The Healthcare Professionals team at Spescare collaborates to provide holistic and comprehensive care for physical rehabilitation and post-operative recovery. The team includes Medical Clerks, Physiotherapists, Medical Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Nursing Managers, and Speech and Language Therapists, all working together to create individualized treatment plans focused on improving patient outcomes and fostering hope throughout the recovery process.
