Benjamin Perrone

Benjamin Perrone has a strong background in business development and finance. Benjamin is currently serving as the Director of Business Development & Finance at Spexis AG since January 2022. Previously, Benjamin held similar roles at Proterris, Inc. where they were the Director of Business Development & Finance from October 2017 to December 2022 and the Sr. Manager of Business Development & Finance from March 2016 to August 2019. Benjamin also worked at EnBiotix, Inc. as the Director of Business Development & Finance from August 2019 to December 2021, the Sr. Manager of Business Development & Finance from August 2016 to August 2019, and the Manager of Business Development from September 2014 to August 2016. Prior to that, Benjamin worked at the Boston University Office of Technology Development as an Associate (2011-2012) and Senior Associate (2012-2014) in New Ventures. Benjamin also has research experience, having worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Boston University from September 2011 to August 2014 and as a Ph.D. Research Assistant from September 2007 to August 2011.

Benjamin Perrone obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from the University of Chicago between 2003 and 2007. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University from 2007 to 2011.
