Raied Al-Lashi has worked in various roles in the engineering and embedded systems field since 2013. Starting as a Research Fellow at the Electronics and Computer Science department of the University of Southampton, they then moved to the University of Leeds-UK in 2015 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. In 2017, they became a Senior Lecturer in the Electronic Engineering and Embedded System at the Department of Engineering, Nottingham Trent University. In 2018, they worked as a System Developer at EmbeddedArt AB, where they developed and implemented automated real time signal processing algorithms. In 2020, they were Head of Research and Development at Ecobloom, and in 2021 they were a Senior Software Engineer at Alstom and a Senior Firmware Engineer at Wearable Technologies Ltd. Currently, they are a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Sphere Fluidics Limited.
Raied Al-Lashi obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2011, after studying there from 2007.
