Charles Lane

Charles Lane has worked in the technology industry since 1996. Charles began their career as a Programmer/Analyst at Swiss Bank Corporation in 1996. Charles then moved to Republic National Bank as a Developer in 1997. In 2000, they joined HSBC as a Developer, where they designed and developed user interfaces for proprietary AML and Fraud Monitoring applications. Charles was promoted to Test Manager in 2005, where they managed an offshore/onshore test team responsible for the testing of HSBC's in-house Fraud Monitoring and AML applications. In 2016, they joined MUFG as a QA Lead, providing project governance to twelve high-profile waterfall and hybrid agile projects. Charles currently works as a QA Manager at SPHERE Technology Solutions, a woman-owned company that has redefined how organizations achieve controls across their environment.

Charles Lane has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University. In addition, they have obtained seven certifications since 2020, including Cucumber Essential Training from LinkedIn in August 2020, ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Testing (ICP-TST) from ICAgile in March 2020, API Testing Foundations from LinkedIn in February 2020, Agile Software Development: Scrum for Developers from LinkedIn in February 2020, Behavior-Driven Development from LinkedIn in February 2020, Agile Development Practices from LinkedIn in January 2020, and Agile Testing from LinkedIn in January 2020.
