Adrienne Emerson has held a variety of roles in the education and production industries. In 2021, they became the Education Content Manager at Sphero and Owner of Emerson Education Consulting LLC, where they assist school districts with creating and maintaining district wide or single campus STEM and robotics programs. From 2009 to 2021, they were the District Robotics Director, Director of Robotics 9-12, and Teacher at GREENVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, where they managed all GreenvilleISD's robotics programs, created a vertically aligned district robotics curriculum, and taught engineering classes. From 2013 to 2021, they were the Camp Director at iD Tech Camps, where they were responsible for the safety and operations of a programming and gaming technology camp. From 2006 to 2009, they were a Production Supervisor at Guardian Industries, where they hired, trained, and managed a crew of 12 production personnel in the coating department, and practiced lean manufacturing techniques.
Adrienne Emerson has an extensive education history. Adrienne obtained their M. Ed. Secondary Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended Clarkson University and earned an Applied Mathematics and Statistics degree between 2002 and 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including an AVID Certified Instructor from the AVID Center in June 2018, CS with VEXcode VR Educator Certification from VEX Robotics, Google Certified Educator Level 1 from Google, and PLTW Certified Educator - Engineering Essentials, Introduction to Engineering Design, and Principals of Engineering from Project Lead The Way. Adrienne has also obtained VEX IQ Educator Certification and VEX V5 Educator Certification from VEX Robotics.
