Sourav Chatterjee

Sourav Chatterjee has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sourav began their career at Agilent Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they developed protocol suites for conformance and stress testing of Router Tester products. Sourav then joined CA Technologies as a Software Engineer before moving on to UshaComm, where they worked as an Associate Manager. At UshaComm, Sourav was involved in telecom product development, leading a team in designing and developing the ReRating module of the Interconnect Billing System.

After UshaComm, Sourav joined IBM India Pvt Ltd as an Advisory System Analyst. Sourav was responsible for the design and development of C++ applications for the MARS project, working closely with Maersk client and transitioning the project knowledge to the IBM India team. Sourav also gained international experience by working in the USA for three years as a technical onsite lead/architect for various clients such as Sara Lee, Novartis, and Hartford Insurance Group (HIG).

Following their time at IBM, Sourav joined EXFO as an Architect. Sourav worked on different nodes of 4G/LTE and gained exposure to building REST APIs and gRPC. Sourav then moved on to Credit Suisse, where they served as a Vice President. Sourav played a key role in designing the TOMS architecture of the EM bond trading system and successfully leading the team towards achieving the target state. Sourav also led the migration of several legacy GBB C++ applications from Solaris to Linux platform.

Currently, Sourav is working at Spica Systems as a Director of Engineering. Prior to this role, they held the position of Engineering Manager at the same company. In this role, their responsibilities included building important NFs for the Spica 5G Mobility Core and deploying Linux applications in Cloud Ubuntu VMs as containers using Kubernetes and Docker.

Sourav Chatterjee completed their Secondary education (10th grade) at Nabadwip Hindu School in an unspecified year. Sourav then pursued their Higher Secondary education (10+2) at the same school, graduating in 1995. Following this, Sourav attended Kalyani Government Engineering College from 1995 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Technology.
