Ajay Desai

Ajay Desai is the current Chief Operating Officer of Agri Business at Spice Money. Ajay has over 20 years of experience in rural banking and agribusiness. Ajay has worked extensively in the field of financial inclusion and has played a key role in the development of several rural banking products. Ajay has also served as the Country Head of Agribusiness, Rural & Social Banking at Yes Bank. Prior to that, they were with SAAKAV Finserv and Vidhya Bhawan Krishi Vigyan Kendra (VBKVK) as a Training Coordinator. Ajay has also worked as a Rural Management Consultant and Block Coordinator with Care India. Ajay Desai holds a Masters in Business Administration from ICFAI University and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences from Maharashtra Agricultural University.

Ajay Desai has a PGDRM from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and a PG Diploma in SME Management from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). Ajay also has an M.Sc. in Agricultural Entomology from Doctor Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the same school.

Their manager is Sanjeev Kumar, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Bishnu Mohanty - Chief Operating Officer, Travel Union, Sunil Kapoor - Executive Director & Group Head, Finance & Compliance, and Rajneesh Arora - Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer.
