Matthew McDonald, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and management. Matthew currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Spice World. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Southern HealthCare Management. Matthew also worked as the Regional Director of Human Resources at Brookdale, where they were responsible for ensuring efficiency and compliance, handling employee relations issues, and developing HR reporting tools. Before that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at iGPS, where they implemented HRIS systems, analyzed compensation plans, and developed a training program. Earlier in their career, Matthew held the role of Branch Manager at both Superior Group and Optimum Staffing, where they oversaw HR functions, managed payroll and benefits, and implemented recruitment and onboarding strategies. Matthew began their career at UPS as a Field Operations Supervisor. Overall, Matthew's experience demonstrates their expertise in HR management, employee relations, compliance, training, and strategic leadership.

Matthew McDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University at Albany, SUNY. Additionally, they have a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Capella University.

In terms of certifications, Matthew obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in July 2015. Furthermore, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification in February 2015, as well as the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in the same month and year.
