Lacey Barnett Cmp

Lacey Barnett, CMP, PMP, has extensive experience in event management and sales within the optics and photonics industry. As Sales Manager at SPIE since August 2008, Lacey oversees the SPIE Career Center, which serves a global community of nearly 225,600 professionals. Additionally, Lacey has a wealth of experience as a Meetings Manager/Event Planner, orchestrating meetings with attendance ranging from 1,200 to 17,000 participants worldwide. In June 2015, Lacey founded The Polished Plan, a comprehensive event management company based in Bellingham, WA, specializing in various personal and corporate events. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager/Event Planner at Southern California Edison from December 2005 to September 2008. Lacey holds a BA in Psychology from UCLA and a Certificate in Business Administration with a focus on Project Management from UC Irvine.
