Vithyacharan Retnasamy

Vithyacharan Retnasamy is an experienced professional in the higher education sector, currently serving as the CEO and Strategy Consultant for RedSeaAssociates since January 2019, focusing on the transformation driven by technology and innovation. Vithyacharan has also contributed as a Journal Reviewer for SPIE since January 2012 and held the position of Adjunct Professor at Universiti Malaysia Perlis from March 2022 to December 2023. With extensive previous roles at Universiti Malaysia Perlis, including Director at the Center of Industrial & Government Collaboration and Senate Member, Vithyacharan has worked on enhancing graduate employability and fostering industry collaborations. Other significant experience includes serving as a Ranking Strategy Analyst at Silpakorn University and various positions in the engineering field, such as Sr. R&D Engineer at Philips Lumileds. Vithyacharan holds a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master of Science, and a Doctor of Philosophy, specializing in areas such as mineral processing and microelectronics.
