Steve Books

Steve Books has a diverse range of work experience. Steve currently holds the position of VP of Software Engineering at Spiff Inc, starting in April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Slingshot Technology, Inc. from October 2019 to April 2021. Steve also co-founded and served as the CTO of Capshare from November 2012 to October 2019, where they developed a web-based equity and cap table management solution. Steve co-founded TrackMyDrive in 2012, a mobile and web-based software solution for tracking business mileage, and worked as a Co-Founder until March 2018 when it was acquired by Everlance. Steve also has experience as a Division Lead at FinancialBased from March 2009 to November 2012, where they built and managed an automated high-speed currency exchange system. Prior to that, they were a Division Director at MiningBased from September 2008 to March 2009, where they created and managed a complex data crawling and extraction system. Steve started their career as the Owner of C&J Tech, a custom computer shop and in-house computer repair operation, from July 1996 to September 2008. During this time, they won the 1999 Young Entrepreneur award. Overall, Steve Books has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurialism throughout their career.

Steve Books attended Brigham Young University from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
