Aart Jan W. Teunissen

Aart Jan W. Teunissen is a highly experienced anesthesiologist and pain specialist, currently serving at Maasstad Ziekenhuis since July 2000 in various capacities, including anesthesiologist and pain specialist, as well as educator for anesthesia trainees. Since February 2019, Aart Jan Teunissen has also held the role of medical manager for pain medicine at Spijkenisse Medisch Centrum. Aart Jan Teunissen completed medical training at Leiden University, earning an MD in Medicine, followed by specialized education in anesthesiology at Utrecht University. Prior experience includes various positions in anesthesiology and pain management, including a military service role supporting the anesthesiology department at Gemini Ziekenhuis.
