Terrance Leonard

Terrance Leonard has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Terrance is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Spill since January 2023. Prior to this, they were a Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at Treetrunk.io from April to October 2022. Terrance also worked as a Backend Engineer at Meroxa from August 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they held the position of Lead Cloud Engineer at PatientPing from June 2019 to July 2020. Terrance also worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Envoy from January to June 2019. Earlier in their career, Terrance worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Caffeine from March to October 2018. Terrance gained significant experience in cloud and systems development engineering roles at Amazon Web Services from December 2015 to March 2018. Terrance started their professional journey as part of the US Navy, where they held various roles, including Information Warfare Officer, Deputy Technical Program Manager, and Student Naval Flight Officer. During their time in the Navy, they made notable contributions such as automation of manual tests, implementation of unique testing features, and incorporation of additional platforms into an enterprise testing tool.

Terrance Leonard obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Terrance acquired certifications from Amazon Web Services. Terrance received the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification in March 2016 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification in January 2016.
