Trip Adams

Trip Adams is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in bankruptcy law. Since January 2012, Trip Adams has served as a Member at Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC, leading the bankruptcy practice in North Carolina and representing creditors, including national and regional banks. Previously, Trip Adams was an Adjunct Professor of Law at Elon University School of Law from 2008 to 2016, teaching a specialized course in Bankruptcy. Trip Adams's career also includes roles as a Member at Higgins Benjamin, PLLC, and as a Partner at both Turner Enochs & Lloyd and Adams & Costley, LLP. Early career experience includes serving as an Associate and Director at Tuggle Duggins & Meschan, P.A., and as a Standing Chapter 13 Trustee at the Chapter 13 Office. Trip Adams holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Davidson College.
