Gene Xu

Gene Xu is a highly experienced animator with a career spanning various significant projects in the animation industry. Currently serving as Lead Animator at SPIN VFX since May 2022, Gene collaborates with multiple departments to ensure the successful integration of animation elements. Previous roles include Senior Animator at Moving Picture Company and Digital Dimension Entertainment Group, where Gene contributed to notable productions such as "The Last Voyage Of The Demeter" and "Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas." At Jam Filled, Gene managed teams while working on acclaimed titles like "Rusty Rivets" and "Dino Ranch." With a strong foundation in both technical and artistic aspects of animation, Gene holds post-graduate certificates in Digital Character and Computer Animation from Sheridan College and completed training at iAnimate. Gene's proficiency extends to software such as Blender and Harmony Toon Boom, showcasing a versatile skill set across various animation styles.
