Karen Mikalsen has experience working as a Health & Care Quality Team Co-ordinator at the Spinal Injuries Association since January 2011. Prior to this role, Karen was an Information Officer (Systems & Serials) at the Greater London Authority from September 1996 to August 2009. At SIA, Karen is responsible for organizing the clinical training programme, including CPD-accredited healthcare professional education modules and Study Days on topics like neurogenic bladder and bowel management. Karen collaborates closely with clinical and support services teams to provide face-to-face and virtual training options for NHS and other non-specialist healthcare settings.
