Bertrand Fatus

Bertrand Fatus has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles.

Starting in 2011, they served in the French Army as part of the Armée de Terre from September 2011 to April 2012.

In 2014, they had an internship at Genesis Acoustics where they worked on implementing a MaxMSP code for real-time binaural sound reproduction.

In 2015, Fatus had an internship at Orange and also co-founded Tempow, where they worked as a R&D engineer and was responsible for developing audio algorithms for speaker synchronization.

From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Devialet as a Signal Processing Engineer, focusing on R&D projects such as loudspeaker control, acoustic modeling, and audio rendering.

In 2018, Fatus joined Dreem and held several roles. Bertrand started as a Healthcare Unit Operations Manager, responsible for building and managing partnerships for studies and clinical trials using Dreem sleep technologies. Bertrand then became the Head of Testing and Validation, testing hardware, firmware, and software against product specifications. Finally, they served as the Head of Product, overseeing internal processes, managing the product team, and creating a CBTi program on a mobile application.

Currently, they work as a Product Manager at Spinergie, starting in 2022.

Bertrand Fatus obtained their first Master's degree in Acoustic and fluid mechanics from École Polytechnique in the year 2015. During their time at École Polytechnique, they developed a strong foundation in the field of Acoustic and fluid mechanics. In 2014, they pursued further education and completed a second Master's degree at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. This Master's degree was focused on Acoustic and signal processing, allowing him to broaden their knowledge and expertise in this area. Their educational background in both Acoustic and signal processing equipped him with a diverse skill set in these fields.
