Kim Sanders, CPCU, ARe

Kim Sanders, CPCU, ARe has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Kim is currently working as the Director of Program Business at Spinnaker Insurance Company since December 2022. Prior to this, Kim has held various positions at Weston Insurance, starting as an Underwriter from April 2005 to June 2010. Kim then worked as an Account Manager at J. Smith Lanier & Co. from June 2010 to December 2011. Following that, they joined Starr Companies as a Lead Data Analyst from February 2014 to May 2015. Kim's next role was at Alfa Insurance as an Actuarial Product Analyst from June 2015 to June 2018. Around the same time, they also held roles at Weston Insurance, including Regulatory Product from June 2018 to March 2020, AVP Product Director from March 2020 to March 2021, and VP of Products & Financial Analysis from March 2021 to January 2023. With extensive experience in various insurance roles, Kim Sanders brings valuable expertise to their current position at Spinnaker Insurance Company.

Kim Sanders, CPCU, ARe, holds a Master's degree in Data Science from The Johns Hopkins University, which was completed from 2017 to 2020. Prior to this, Kim earned a Bachelor of Applied Mathematics in Actuarial Science from Auburn University, graduating from 2011 to 2015. Kim has also obtained several additional certifications, including the CPCU certification from The Institutes in December 2016 and the ARe certification from The Institutes in January 2017. Additionally, Kim has completed various online courses on topics such as Statistical Inference, Exploratory Data Analysis, and R Programming, offered by Coursera, all obtained in 2017.
