Maisie O'Brien is an accomplished teaching artist with a diverse background in visual arts and education. Currently, O'Brien serves as a Teaching Artist at Spiral Q Puppet Theater and the Philadelphia Arts and Education Partnership, as well as a Teaching Assistant at Asian Arts Initiative. Since 2012, O'Brien has been a self-employed artist, specializing in fine art, drawing, printmaking, illustration, performance, installation, design, and photography, including cello performances. O'Brien has also contributed as a Family Arts Academy Teaching Artist at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and as an illustrator for "Ripples" by Norm Stolpe. O'Brien's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Printmaking from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
